Each of A Bed On The Arkansas' six impeccably decorated and remodeled bed and breakfast rooms feature high-end, hand made mattresses and box springs by Shifman Mattress Company. The Mt. Princeton, Trout Creek, Mt. Yale, Rockview, Arkansas River, and Cozy Nest rooms all have a private bathroom, television with satellite connection, DVD/VCR player, small refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee and condiments, and include a simple continental breakfast. Choose from rooms with king or queen size beds, 2 queens, or even a 2-bedroom suite with your own sitting room in between! A Bed On The Arkansas can comfortably accommodate groups and families up to 18 people.
After an exhilarating day on the river or the mountain, enjoy the comfort of unrivaled amenities and relax in our large, enclosed hot tub. Let yourself unwind while reading a book to the soothing sound of the Arkansas River, from our covered patio. Our bed and breakfast is located in the heart of Chaffee County, the adventure capitol of Colorado. From its perch along the Arkansas River, you can enjoy impressive views of some of Colorado's highest mountains, the Collegiate Peaks. This cluster of forteeners (mountains over 14,000 feet tall) include Mt. Princeton, Mt. Harvard, Mt. Yale, and Mt. Columbia.

The Pando Cabins are located at historic Camp Hale, 30 minutes away from Vail and Beaver Creek, 10 minutes away from Ski Cooper. During World War II, Camp Hale was the location for the 10th Mountain Army Division’s winter maneuver training. The area is now listed on the National Historic Register.
