The Pando Cabins are located at historic Camp Hale, 30 minutes away from Vail and Beaver Creek, 10 minutes away from Ski Cooper. During World War II, Camp Hale was the location for the 10th Mountain Army Division’s winter maneuver training. The area is now listed on the National Historic Register.
