We offer 1/2 day to 3-day Arkansas River rafting trips that range from mild class II family trips to wild and crazy class IV rafting trips that will really get your heart pumping. Our season runs from early May through late August, and we run trips every day of the week. We offer half day trips for ages 5 and up, and full day trips for ages 8 and up. All of our trips meet at and depart from our office, located on Highway 285 between Salida and Buena Vista, Colorado (about 2½ hours from Denver).

The golf course is situated in a beautiful mountain valley. The clubhouse sits at an elevation of 9,324 feet. At this elevation the golf ball flies farther and straighter than at lower elevations, as there is less air resistance. The air not only allows you to hit the ball farther, but also offers temperatures that make you forget about the heat of the summer. Typical daytime summer temperatures range from 65 degrees to 80 degrees. Quite rarely will the temperature exceed 80.
