Description: Named after the popular expression for the road it is on, about 1 mile from Pole Creek Golf Course, 9 miles for the center of downtown Winter Park and 11 miles from the base of the ski area.
Built in 1960 by a forest service employee, it's situated on the first acre of a 640 acre parcel of Forest Service land. Much of the 1,120 square foot interior of the cabin has been remodeled and updated, but still has the original wood floors.
From the exterior porch entry, one is greeted by a large open-plan living and dining room with plenty of seating and space providing multiple options for watching TV, VCR, DVD or playing games.
The cabin's heating is provided by thermostatically controlled forced air via the gas stove and is a non smoking cabin rental.
The charming kitchen retains the original white pine brought in from Idaho and does not have a dishwasher.
The first floor bedroom has 1 Double bed and 1 Twin and a full-sized bathroom across the hallway.
The cabin sleeps up to 7 people and has the added convenience of a stack washer and dryer.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and occupies the upper level.
